Fisher Price Event at Rustans Makati

The Fisher Price event was held last May 25, 2013 at Rustan's Makati. 

Fisher Price Ambassador Ms. Audrey Tan-Zubiri, she shared some of her stories on being a mom of two and shared some tips and tricks that she does in her everyday life as a mom.

What I learned from Ms. Audrey was don't be so uptight with your kids, let them play freely. Letting them play freely will not only build their confidence but will also help them cope with their feelings.

Lots of raffle prizes to be won

The purposes and reasons for valuing play:

• utilizes surplus energy
• is natural for children and part of the innocence of childhood
• helps children understand the social world

• supports children's developing communication skills
• helps children to cope with their feelings and fears and to manage their emotional states
• develops positive dispositions towards challenge, change and self-initiated learning

What is our role as an adult in play?
      We just need to understand the value of play and create more opportunity for play with the children in our lives.

We met Ms. Audrey after the event. She's not only a very beautiful mom, she is a very humble and down to earth person as well. It's like we've known each other for a long time. 

It's really nice to know that some malls like Rustan's Makati give importance to nursing moms and I am really happy to see this nursing station near the infant section, 3rd floor. It's a very spacious room with comfy sofas where you can comfortably breastfeed your baby. There is also a changing table where you can use some of the sample products that will help you clean and refresh your baby.

Pregnancy and Beyond 2013

Makati Medical Center Pregnancy and Beyond 2013 is an event held every 4th Saturday of the Month, 10am -1pm at Hall A, Auditorium 8th floor Tower 2, Makati Medical Center. The topic that we attended today was Being the Fab and Sexy Mommy/Touch Therapy and Safe Touch. I really need to know how to become a sexy and fab mom! : )

Phillips Avent from Pregnancy to Playground at SM Megamall

I am a huge fan and supporter of Philips Avent from their products to their events. I don't use bottles that much because I'm a full-time breastfeeding mom, but I am thankful for their breast care accessories like the breast shells that can be worn inside a bra to protect sore and cracked nipples and to collect leaking breastmilk and the Moisturising Nipple Cream. Those helped me a lot in my breastfeeding journey. I don't have a pump yet because there are a lot of varieties to choose from and I'm really confused right now on what pump I should get and which one will suit me the best. Anyhoo, Philips Avent from Pregnancy to Playground Mall Caravan was held last May 18, 2013 at SM Megamall Event Center. It was an afternoon filled with lots of activities, games and prizes.

Each participant who registered was given a raffle stub and a passport and may I remind you that this is for free. After you finished collecting all the stamps there's a goody bag waiting for you. How awesome is that?

 

Baby bump area is an exhibit where you can see all these wonderful belly casts of the expectant moms from Mamasteart.com. I am also amazed by the photographs. I wish I had that, too, during my pregnancy. There's also a portrait area sponsored by Stanley Ong Photography.

Growing baby area is a where you and your baby can bond by doing a scrapbook and rotating blocks for you're little tot to play with.

New baby area is where you can do another activity with your child by making a bib art. And as you can see in the picture, these are over-sized Philips Avent products. I love the toddler feeding set. It is so cute! : )

You really have to stay tuned because they will be giving away this Aprica Stroller and Philips Avent steamer/blender worth P11,000. woohoo!
