Foggy Nights at One Tagaytay Place

Me and my husband are huge fans of cold climates and since we're from the south, we always go to Tagaytay to explore and hang out. One of our favorite hotels to go to is the One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites. It's very accessible to all the restaurants and it's only a few meters away from Picnic Grove.

Since it's only the two of us, we availed the deluxe double room. The amenities include:

  • LCD TV with cable channels
  • DVD player and microwave oven on request
  • Mini-bar
  • Wi-Fi
  • Coffee/ tea maker
  • Welcome drinks and breakfast
  • IDD/ NDD phone with voicemail
  • Safe
  • Daily newspaper
Not so spacious bathroom, but it's nice and clean and there's a hot and cold shower

View from our room. Can you see how foggy it is?

Our breakfast buffet at Azalea Restaurant and Lobby Bar. For me the food was average, nothing special. A typical Filipino breakfast. I loved their daing na bangus though.

There is also a swimming pool and a kiddie pool. But we didn't go for a swim because the weather and the water from the pool was too cold.

One of the facilities we enjoyed is the Renegere Wellness Spa where you can relax and unwind.
Join me again on my next adventure

 Until next time!

Anniversary Celebration at BELLAROCCA 2011

As a celebration of our anniversary, my husband surprised me the day before our anniversary that we are going to Boracay. And I'm like, "What? Are you serious? Why didn't you tell me earlier?". He said he didn't want to tell me at all, but if he didn't tell me, who will fix our check-in bags and carry on's? Hahaha : ) A few hours left until our flight and I haven't started packing our things yet! Waaahhh!

We left home early because my husband said our flight was 6am bound to Kalibo, via Philippine Airlines at NAIA 2. Another surprise, surprise me. As we were on our way to the airport, our route changed, instead of going to NAIA 2, we headed to Domestic Airport along Domestic Road and I told my husband we are going the wrong way, but he ignored me!

And now my head is going crazy, I really don't know what is going on. Again, another surprise! As we entered the airport we have to present our boarding pass and valid I.D. I told my husband that I'm gonna need my boarding pass, and so he gave it to me. I was shocked that our flight was bound to MRQ via ZestAir. At the back of my mind I was thinking "What the Fwig is MRQ?" Marinduque? What are we gonna do there?

As soon as we checked-in our luggages it's really official that we are going to Marinduque. I didn't stop making "kulit" of my husband until he told me what is going on. The only info that he told me is we're going to some place in Marinduque and we're going CAMPING! WHAT?! All the stuff that I brought was for THE beach, I even brought a swimsuit. Now you're telling me we're going camping! I was really frustrated at my husband at that time!

As soon as we landed, I saw some staff from Bellarocca waiting for their guest. I've heard about Bellarocca somewhere in the web, and I know that the accommodation there was indeed very expensive. I know that we are going camping so I didn't expect that we were going to Bellarocca at all.

Then one of the staff of Bellarocca came to us and helped us with our stuff. I almost cried! Am I dreaming? I was so overwhelmed at that moment. Mr. Smile won't  leave my face! Hahaha

We had an hour and a half shuttle ride and about 10 minutes boat ride.

I was so flattered when we arrived. The staff were welcoming us with their wonderful song and they put leis on us. aaawww!

After we checked-in, these yummy treats were awaiting us!

The bathroom was so clean and huge. There's a large bathtub, cubicled toilet, spacious hot and cold shower. The toiletries were made by Molton Brown.

Oh my, the bed is heaven! I wish we had a bed this big!

The Snack Bar was so expensive. P100 for a canned soda!? P100 for a small pack of mix nuts!?

The room was very spacious! It's so spacious that you can accompany the whole family!
; )

The view from our room! I think they got the idea from Santorini.

Lounging here at the lap pool

There are a lot of things to do here like kayaking, snorkeling, etc. And if you're tired of outdoor activities, they also have indoor activities like foosball, billiards, etc. You can all use them for free.

Look at this breathtaking infinity pool. It's a paradise!

For me the food was average, nothing special, and it's expensive.

Who wouldn't have a massage here? It is so peaceful and relaxing.

The staff can take you for a tour around the island via golf cart. They also have a helipad. How cool is that?

Our trip here at Bellarocca was really romantic and a truly unforgettable experience.
Thank you so much to my husband for this remarkable adventure.

Like what they said, "If something didn't go the way you're expecting, something better will come your way!"

Until next time!

Newport Cinema @ Resort's World Manila

Ultra Cinema 1 is a different kind of cinema. Do you wanna know why?

1. There are seats outside where you can lounge and relax while waiting for your movie to start.

2 Fully reclining seats.
3. If you're a couple there's an enclosed cubicle where you can have your own privacy.
4. Unlimited popcorn and drinks.
5. A Butler service. Yes! A butler service. Can you see the white button beside me? If you press it they will attend to you immediately.

It's a little bit expensive, I think it's about P500+ for each person. Don't eat a huge lunch or dinner for you to enjoy the unlimited popcorn and drinks. Hehe : )

Until next time!

Unplanned gala @ Manila Ocean Park

This is our first time at Manila Ocean Park, and we're so excited to see all this wonderful creatures.

Agos is one of the attractions here at Manila Ocean Park where you can see different kinds of sea creatures.

This REALLY huge fish is called Giant Arapaima. This is one of the largest freshwater fish in the world. This fish also has ability to breathe air from the surface due to the lung-like lining of its throat.

As I walk through the trail, I can't help but admire these amazing
vines hanging by the ceiling.

This silky smooth fish is called Black Ghost Knife Fish. These are nocturnal fish. They are also a weakly electric and can use an electric organ and receptors distributed over the length of their body in order to locate their prey.

 School of fish

Have you met Nemo and Dory?

This creepy looking fish is called Reef Stonefish. The Guinness Book of record lists it as the most venomous fish in the world. Its venom causes severe pain with possible shock, paralysis and tissue death and sometimes even suffocation or heart attack, depending on the depth of the penetration.

I wish I could take home this cute star fish! You can touch them but you're not allowed to lift them.

Buhay na Karagatan is a 25-meter-long walk way tunnel. Its like you're walking under the ocean without getting wet at all. : )

Doctor Fish or Nibble Fish consumes dead skin cells directly off the bodies of people. It is also free of pain and does not hurt. BTW those are not my legs! : )

Lots of jellyfish! As you can see, they put the jellyfish in a large cylinder aquarium and
a lighting effect that adds a really cool dimension to it.. It's like they're dancing!

Join me on my next adventure. Until next time!
